Well, you knew it was only a matter of time... I'm anxious to get the new JK dirty and try out the 32" BFG M/T KM's's!!!

Is anyone interested in a short notice run this Saturday Nov 8, or next Saturday Nov 15? I'll toss out two trails that Beth and I haven't done in a few years, one on the west side and the other on the east side.

- Wells #40 Harquahala Peak (M) 2~3 hours (west of Wickenburg)
- Wells #57 Walnut Canyon (M) 5~6 hours (south of Superior)

I'll post up a run for whatever day and trail folks are interested in.

The new JK... :D

I rescheduled this run for Nov 15th. We'll be doing Harquahala Peak if anyone is interested.

Thanks Casey.

So far Kevin said he may make it if he gets new tires. If no one commits by Thursday Nov 13th, Beth and I are going to make other plans for the 15th.

Vern... sorry, we can't make it on the 16th. If you get something going, have fun and post up some pics.

I can't make the 15th already have another commitment. I am open for a run on the 16th- battleaxe or something in the FJ area could be fun.
Kevin and I did Harquahala last year it was fun. Dress warm it is windy and cold on the top. Let me know if you change your plans and want to run the 16th

:( :( :( I have developed a minor problem with the rear suspension- annoying clicking like a loose shock on the starboard aft side and I only have Saturday to nail it down and fix.
(Pretty good for hauling a loaded travel trailer (est wt 5100 lbs laden) to Sunsites and back!)
(19.8 over there and 14.1 MPG'S back (head wind) averaging 65 to 70 MPH on I-10 with passing bursts to 80 MPH).
Short notice puts me in an unfortunate position to pass this run. :(
Please do not get me wrong- I would love to go!
And after my family seeing Pablo's CRD at Cochise Stronghold, they are asking me why I have'nt lifted mine already!!!
So I got some work to do --
My Jeep heart is with you Number 3, and I am trying to get the OK to for the Border run on 11/29.
Have fun whereever you end up going. Your Wrangler "X" looks like something you are really going to enjoy!

Roland... thanks for your comments on the new Jeep JK. Fixing that red beast of yours is priority #1 over doing a short notice run anyday. Hey, good to hear your family noticed you needed a lift, way to go!!! My family said go get my own Jeep... LOL. Really hope to see you down in Bisbee for Mike's Turkey Day run.

Kevin... thanks for coming out for the maiden voyage of the new JK and running to the top of Harquahala Peak with Beth and I. I didn't take that many pics this trip, but here are a few.

The new JK set for it's first run up the side of a steep and rocky mountain...

LOL... today was the first time since we've been running with the AZ Chapter that we didn't bottom out or scrape the underside!!!

Hey there!!! How are things on the bottom side of the world, or are you back? Whichever, we need to see pics OR you didn't go!!! LOL

If your back, check out the Turkey Day Run Signcutter21 is leading. We'd like to see your smiling face. Oh, and if you come... do we need to provide our own potatoes???

Beth likes the new Jeep... it's bigger and roomier than the old TJ and it'll save her KJ from getting beat up more than it is. We sold our '99 TJ and a Chrysler Crossfire to get the new JK. No plans for a lift or anything, It sits up about 2" higher than the old Jeep, so we'll be okay.

Glad to see you posting again... :D
