Depends. How are the CV angels? 5" is way too much normally, so unless your front end was dragging before, it would be too much.

remove the clevis... you have a franky...that should be enough. What about the back? you said you just installed the front....may level out some if you have it all done before measuring!

Definitely do the back before you panic. And also realize that it will settle a bit. Mine has over 50k miles on it and I swear I barely have 2" now (hard to tell with the bigger tires on though and I didn't measure in the first place so I have no benchmark).

Yea my 2-1/2" lift after I first put it and the tires on gave me a little over 4-1/2". After a week or so it settled down. Some good offroading will settle a lift down real quick.

A big issue with how much lift you get is that our front springs appear to be crap. Your KJ was probably sitting below stock height in the front. The 2.5" lift is over stock height. Just for example, if your front has dropped 1" and you added a 2.5" lift, the lift takes you back to stock height ( +1") and then the lift ( + 2.5" ) and gives you what appears to be 3.5" of lift. But the 1" of "recovered" height doesn't actually count.
