Anybody done this?

I noticed wear on mine at about the 9 month mark. Worst steering wheel I've had when it comes to durability.

Looks like i'm going to be the guinea pig here and take a shot at spraying it.

Googled a bit and says use a polyurethane clear.

I'm planning on putting one of these on. Just slip them on, and stich them up:

Looks good in leather, you may have to buy one for me and post, let's see what else is posted in terms of leather covers.

Wheelskin is another brand, perhaps somebody is using one and can post some pics.

I was given this one but as you can notice it's hanging on my workshop door, it's not leather and the colors don't do me

I think i should start a poll, would you yes or no fit this steering wheel cover on your Jeep.

Found two leather covers on E Bay that would ship to me.

First one is the Wheelskin and second one is the GoGoHK Bar.

Second one is cheaper but i don't know much about this stuff and what they feel /look like.

Can anybody post some advice, my wife said she'd buy me one for Xmas

Head on down to your local Wal-Mart or auto parts store. They'll have plenty to choose from.

I will soon.

One it on it's way to me. Gotta see what the darn thing is $50.

The way I figure it, I've paid more money for a pair of gloves which I use far less than my steering wheel. So I forked out the $50.

I have three.

Street - Buell XB12X Ulysses
Track - Suzuki GSX-R600
Runabout/pit bike - Kymco Agility 125 scooter

Sadly, I'm heading down to Jennings, Florida for my last track day of 2008 on the 27th. Then it will be the long wait till March when it all cranks back up again.

For 50$ you can get your wheel recovered in leather same color 8)

Think it has anything to do with that African Grey hangin' out on the steering wheel?

We have a Blue-fronted Amazon...past learning new things. However, if I had a Grey, I'd teach it to shout expletives at idiot drivers...and people driving gassers....
