Can the transmissions be swapped between the 2002 and 2003 KJ's? (RFE vs RLE) I don't need one right now, but if I ever do I would like to put the stronger tranny in mine. I know I can probably find this in search, but when I typed it in 438 pages came up and I already have a full time job HaHa.

You'll need trans,TCM,wiring harness,rear crossmember,t-case adapter,F/R driveshafts just to start,can be done but really not worth the $$$ to get the electronics working correctly.

You can always add the shift kit and the new HD T.C. from APS Precision. I've heard adding the new TC is like having a new trany.
