I think those are a good choice. I see way more PIAA in bumpers than I do Hella or KC. KC does make a quality product for pretty cheap too, but I don't think they have any 4" light at all, only 5" and up.

After I found the PIAA's above...
I found even better lights for the same price! + free shipping

510 SMR Series - Xtreme White Plus Driving Lamps

For those who prefer the look of a "clear" lens, the 510 SMR features PIAA's computer designed Super Multi-Reflector technology. SMR technology reduces stray light providing an extremely focused beam pattern without the use of lens fluting.

Part NO. 5192 - 510 XT SMR Series
Bulb Type 12V - H3 55watt=110W Xtreme White Plus
Black stamped steel housing and glass lens
Two lamps, wiring harness, relay, switch, and two black mesh style covers

Why did you not consider the KC HiLites?

I find them to be a great value, american made and not gonna ruin my day of I trash one.

I'm looking for lights now too and the only reason I am looking at something other than KC is price. I can get 4 Summit 6 inch 100 watters for $106 compared to two KC 6" 100 watters for $134. I know KC is better and has the 23 year warranty and KC is what I should get and want to get... BUT... the price is an issue.

I bought the Hella 500's off the web for for 70.00 shipped from Autoanything.com. The quality is pretty good and the light output is on par for the price. However one of my lights is not as bright as the other. I thought voltage drop but have checked and that is not occuring. I sent them back and was shipped a replacement pair no questions asked. I think the problem is in the housing design. But for 70.00 they were hard to beat and they throw alot of extra light. Hope this helps you out.

you know, whatever light you do buy, and you feel that they are not supplying enough light, you can always change the bulbs. thats what i did with my HELLA 500's. went to PEP BOYS and bought 100w bulbs for 3.99. alot more light for just $4!!!!!! most of the foglights now have the H3 bulb in them. you can always get diif colors
