 Does anyone know how much a new front windshield costs for an 04 Liberty??? . Stupid road gravel  . The wife got a small rock chip this morning, and by the time she got home from work...... a 13 inch crack running just above the wipers. It's after 6pm here and all the shops are closed till after x-mass.

I know it won't be cheap  . And I have a $500 deductable.

Does anyone know how much?

300?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I was quoted at $158! I even had them come to my house to install the windsheild while I was still sleeping! Insurance covered 100 and the guys didnt charge me the other $58 because of the agreement my insurance has with them.

Just replaced the windshield on my 05 Liberty a couple of weeks ago. The insurance company forked out 300+ for the new glass.

do you have glass coverage on your KJ,if ya do you shouldn't have to pay a dime, I had 2 windshields replaced on my last truck in 1 year & didn't pay nothing & I'm allowed 3 a year, insurance coverd it all

Remember even if you do not have Glass Coverage, Windshield damage is covered under Comp not Collision, most policies have a much lower Comp deductabe than Collision.

I have never heard of "glass coverage" before. All I know is that my (uninsured motorist property damage) deductable is $200 or $300 hit&run, my (comprehensive) deductable is $500.

Those prices sound realy low. It cost me $120 just to have the windshield in my XJ resealed when I bought it because of a bad install in its past. If I had to get new glass it was going to cost me $250.

I sure hope it will be as cheap as some of yours were.
