Yep,wait till you see my completed SFA swap  .

Aww come on now....You've been saying that for two years now!! Get on w/ it already!! I have already fallen off the edge of my seat twice and getting tired of holding my breath!
And how many times have I fallen off my chair? Now granted the first year of that 2 years was collecting parts, this past year has been, well it's been hectic and there was set backs that I have no control over and not worth me getting upset about. It will happen but some private issues need to be resolved first in which I have no control over so I just got to go with the flow. The good part is USAFCOP can catch up with his parts list so we can get the 2 prototypes built one right after the other which will help get the SFA kit out faster(as soon as we beat the snot out of them,R&D is so fun 8) ).

Now back on topic.............

Yeah, catching up, but now slowing back down... Volvo wants attention now bunch of issues, all at once, and only 2 covered under my "warranty" and the car was egged by some punks in my own driveway last night!!! Got the Subaru too, but that is an improvement  ...when it rains it pours

Winch: Mile marker M8000
Mount: MM Cradle prototype RL Bumper
Line: Synthetic rope and aluminum fairlead from Armorology

I have a Mile Marker PE 8000 and I recently received their new MiFi upgrade from the head R&D guy there.

I have not hooked the MiFi up yet, but it's a solenoid-free control system with real time diagnostic. He gave it to me under the understanding that I would give him feedback from the field.

Comments: GREAT set-up. I keep a bag of goodies, d shackles, snatch blocks and gloves and tree strap and...., in the back for emergency uses. Used the winch during hurrican Ike to pull trees out of the road. One little thing I did different is rather than hook it up straight to the Yellow top, I soldered in a WARN 50 amp plug. The one like the ones tow trucks use and the SC Rock Crawler Bumpers put on their bumpers. I can disconect the winch and plug a set of jumper cables in and either give or get a jump.
