I am coming out of a restaurant today from a late lunch. My KJ is parked out in the open where everyone can see it.

I see a guy taking pictures of my KJ and he walks back to his big pickup truck. It made me wonder if he hit it or saw something wrong, so I do the walk around and see nothing. I jump in my Jeep and drive off while he is still sitting in his truck. I was tempted to pull up to him and ask him why he was taking pictures but decided not to. You never know what you will encounter.

Maybe he is on here. Drives a big silver pickup and took pics of my KJ outside of the Old Chicago's (Iliff & Buckley).

How many of you, while at at a store/restaurant/work/other, came back to see someone snapping pics of your KJ? Trail/off-road events/meet-n-greets excluded.

.......
Oh, and those stupid clips for the flares cost an arm and a leg by the way. I had been at the dealer Parts Dept and got five new ones to replace the broken ones that a shopping cart rammed into my KJ and knocked off the rear flare. I should have gone to Napa, but they were a good distance away. I will make the drive next time.

I had a guy taking pics of my KJ as he drove behind me. He pulled along side me and asked if I was on LOST and then asked me to pull over. Nice enough guy, but I don't remember what he said his screen name was.

I had a guy in Salt Lake City take pictures from his Tacoma while I pulled out of a gas station. Another guy wasn't snapping pics but he was begging his wife about something as he walked around my jeep. Maybe he had a KJ and wanted a lift.

Nope. Didn't know about that one. At the time I thought about getting them, I was on the other side of Aurora.

Thanks for letting me know. Now I can waltz over...well, I might get arrested for waltzing on a public sidewalk, so I'll just scoot there....well, that will hurt my buttocks and I could still get arrested so, I will just drive the KJ there.

If I had a dime for every time someone stopped and took a pic of my KJ or was gathered around looking at it I'd be rich  .

Never seen anyone even glance twice at mine... Until i lifted it. Now I always see people looking at it. Especially other KJ owners that I accidentally/on purpose park next to. Even had several CJ/YJ/TJ guys look at it. :-)

I haven't seen anyone snapping pics, either, but I have come out of stores or restaurants and found fresh hand prints on the front fenders from folks leaning down to check out the front suspension.

Perhaps I ought to wash the KJ a bit more often..................

I get a few comments on the Surco roof basket & the Hella 500's I have mounted on my Libby but nobody yet has taken pics.

I'm often stopping and taking pics of other vehicles I spot and often they aren't even Jeeps.

Have seen several people on the road taking shots , even had one couple take from rear, both sides and then front as we cruised along at 80 MPH going in towards D.C.

This weekend while back down home (Southeastern Ohio) had 3 different people stop me and ask questions on how they could get theirs to look like mine. One guy said he would not drive his wifes Liberty due to it being a chick car, but he has changed his mind now!   Score another lift after tax time!

Seems to me, the guy was lacking in his manhood if he can't drive a so called "chick car."

I had a few people take pics of my Liberty in parking lots and while i was driving down the street. The other day i had one guy behind me flash his lights like a made man and i thought maybe something was falling off so i pulled into a store parking lot and the guy pulled in jumped out of his ford excape and said hell loves the look of my Jeep and another guy and his wife started to fight when he was asking me where i got a lift kit for a Liberty and how much it cost .(the whole time his wife was saying NO) When i told him it also cost me a diamond ring for the wife for Christmas .....SHE turned around and asked me where i got the lift......That man is going to spend some $$$$$$$.
There is only 2 or 3 Lifted Liberty's around here but none that i seen that have aggresive tires That make them stand out .

There are other words that have been used to describe it.

"Sweet!" "nice!" "bad-ass"

my Isuzu Trooper and Mitsu Montero garnered similar comments, without the "Cute".
