Does anyone know if they make a rear polyurethane swaybar bushing set for the KJ's? I know that Daystar has the front set but haven't found a rear set. Is it possible that the front and rear are the same diameter and I can just buy two front sets and just install the one set in the rear?

The rear stabilizer (sway bar) has no bushings. It's just bolted on, two bolts to a side.

I've had mine off since I installed the lift, about a year ago. Made no difference to the ride/stability of the Jeep. Its also been neutered. (Aka...removing the large balancer on the rear diff, mounted near the pinion/driveshaft area...lol...!!)

Just curious, but why did you do that? What did it gain you?

Well it removes about 30lbs of useless weight, not to mention the vibration damper on the rear diff hangs up alot offroad.

So, is there no long term negative effect due to vibration, ride quality degradation, etc? I am by no means saying not to do it, just wondering what the reason that dumb counter weight was put on there to begin with.

For me and others there hasn't,that does not mean some won't,but that's why that vib damper is there.
