does anyone have this? heres a link to jparts.com, the pic is really small, but there are larger elsewhere. if anyone has one, tell me what you think of it, cause it seems really cool. my big question is whether you can put it flat on the floor if its not in use. seems like a good alternative to a steel shelf.

heres a little bit better pic:

Interesting! Just enough space for a custom box subwoofer to fit in where the tanks would be!

well, i'm personally more interested in cargo, but yeah it would be a nice spot for a sub.

or just pop the mopar subs under your front seats, but i have stuff stashed under there too

Thats pretty trick setup Jon, have you bought one or found one yet? I think thats what was in the one Liberty I did a lift on down in Marietta. She had a ton of junk in the back but it looked like that, had it down on the floor not in the upper position

i have not gotten one yet. they seem somewhat rare as far as used stuff goes, since i have never seen one and no one on here seems to have really heard of it. but, they have it on jparts, so i'll probably buy there when i'm ready, depending on shipping. its a bit pricey at $236 list price, but $195 on jparts. Still less then $280 for All J's rack, but probably way less weight capacity...

only problem is i dont think they were made before '05, so no dark slate color for me... :(

A buddy of mine has one of those, they are kinda nice but since they do not fold completely flat on the floor of the trunk it doesn't work for me.

I've got one in mine. Its pretty sweet in most ways. You can leave the sides folded down so its just platform, flip them up so it forms a box for . . . yea . . . grocery bags, or put it down flat for larger loads.

Okay, now for what I don't like about it; When you put it down it forms a raised smooth surface that stuff just slides all over and won't lay flat on. Also, the posts that attach the organizer to the sides of the cargo compartment are molded into the organizer and they stick up even when the thing is on the floor. It is also only rated to hold 70 lbs (although I have had twice that on it without problems). You could put some anti skid tape on the surface and that would stop stuff sliding around, but the hooks are still in the way. I love it when I am hauling a bunch of small stuff, but when I am trying to get something larger in there, it kind of sucks.

All in all I like it.

checked with her this evening Jon, her Dad took it out and she's not sure where it is but will look for it when she gets home, as "light headed" as she is we may never know, But will keep after her for ya.

I have one that came with the jeep when I got it. It was convenient for organizing little things and groceries, etc. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit with two items that I really need: A full rubber floorliner (which I don't want to go without) and a stroller for the little one. I'd be willing to part with it for a pittance plus shipping if anyone wants it (I'm in GA, BTW.).

We have one and use it a lot. Wife likes it for groceries and shopping, keeps the tools from crushing the eggs. I fold it flat to haul the hockey gear. We've hauled more than 70lbs on it, is that just the rating for the upper level position? It does take up a couple inches in the flat position as it mounts on top of the back and needs space to cover the metal support structure. The modular organizers work pretty well though.

I have one and I really like it. I use it more as a trunk lid and store stuff underneath it for security. I use the top when I need extra storage or when I know I will be needing something in a hurry.

If I know I am going to be hauling large items in the back, then I will take it out first. It is a 5 minute job.

One day I was in Sears and saw that the large Crafstman tool chest and cabinet were on sale, so I bought both. Even with the organizer folded flat, both pieces went in with no problems. I only had to put down one of the seats to get them inside.

It is expensive compared to the roll up security cover, but I am really happy I bought it.
