When my mom saw My Libby for the first time, she said it was "Cute".

I can't believe all of you are acting so harshly to the idea of people calling the KJ a girl's car/jeep or it being cute. Its not pink, it doesn't have a spot to hold flowers like the new VW Beatles do. It just have some feminine curves to it just like the corvettes or any other vehicle with a majority of soft curves in its body. In all honesty the KJ is so far the first and last Jeep to have any such curves regardless of which older wrangler model you point out. Due to the way that the headlights are formed with the hood it gives it the look of eyes and because we humans are genetically built from birth to recognize faces we see a bit of a face on the liberty just like you might see a face in a cloud or the paint on your ceiling, we can also tell someones mood by the lines in their face so we see the soft lines in the KJ as being somewhat happy.

Here is an example. Here is a photo of a stock KJ
Image
Now here it is with it's headlights modified
Image
Notice how it looks a little harsher or possibly it looks mean? well thats because your brain is seeing them as eyes with a hard line and not completly open which can be seen as a sign of aggression.

I'll do it again with the Beetle which is designed to look cute and friendly.

Image
and now it looks mean and evil
Image

So your jeeps will be viewed by the majority as cute or whatever unless you do something to effect those lines, or just get something different if it worries you that much.

It is not an SUV, it is a Jeep. An SUV is what you call a vehicle modeled after Jeeps.

ThunderbirdJunkie has picked up women in a rotted out $50 Sunbird sedan with one working door (right rear, no less) and a blown head gasket.

He knows not what you are doing wrong if you rely on your KJ to pick up womens!

ImageAn SUV is exactly what it is. But I can't help those of you who are obviously in denial.

btw; a lot of women love sexy, cool & fast cars for the look, but nothing turns them on like a Harley - right tommudd. Image Image

Have to admit picked up more "good looking women " on a Harley than anything else, but then they have gotten me into a lot of trouble as well

Thunderbird, I can't really speak for Jeepjeepster but its more of an issue of what i'm not doing rather than what I'm doing wrong lol. Back on topic though I don't understand why there is all the concern with how other people perceive the KJ, it only worry's me when they see it under performs like they expected.

You know as well as I do, a lot of us have been there.

But I got real lucky with the last hot woman who rode with me. I always tell people I really believe when God created woman, his vision was my wife Suzann. :D

For the rest of you...

I can speak for the Denver Metro area...
It is definitely a female's vehicle. I can honestly say at least 8 out of 10 times that I see someone else driving a KJ, it is a female. I'm not just making this up, that just seems to be the reality around here...stock, clean KJ's with street tires and a flower/heart sticker and a female driver. I only get crap from my buddy who works at a dealership because he saw how it was mostly females leaving the lot with a KJ. It actually works in my favor because the ladies love to ask "how can I do that to my Liberty?". I still have yet to see a lady driving a modified KJ. 100% of the modified KJ's I've seen around Denver Metro are driven by men.

Lots of women do drive them but I am seeing more men as they get older and the older vehicle gets passed down to the husband/boyfriend.

Out of the 6 lifts I have done ( helped 2 LOST members ) 3 have been for women, 1 married and two single young girls, (gotta love Daddys money paying me!) the married one they had a new Grand Chrokee and a Liberty and after seeing mine she wanted the Liberty lifted for her, my kind of woman!!

Dunno.............

I'm a guy and I drive a Libby....but so does my babe of a next door neighbor.

It all depends on what you do with your Liberty.

Around here I see more women driving Wranglers than men. Does that make a Wrangler a "woman's Jeep"? Nope.
