I have a 2003 liberty that was bought used. The rear window sensor, maybe?, doesn't seem to work because i keep getting the GLASS message in the S35 display console. I am assuming that this is also causing the alarm to constantly going off. Anyone have a fix or know what to do about this. the dealers keep insisting its a wiring issue and that they can't find it. All i keep hearing is we need to keep it so we can bill you for multiple hours of fruitless wiring problems

Take the interior plastic off the rear gate and inspect the wiring. Maybe its as simple as a loose connection. I would buy or borrow the factory manuals so you can see what is involved and fix it yourself. The public Library may have Chilton's manuals that will be helpful.

I might be totally wrong but...could it be linked somehow with the recall on the rear window? The rear windows kept popping open. Maybe the dealer could look through the old tsb's. Your motor might be beginning to tweak vs. full blown throw the window open broken.

I agree with Nanette check your local dealer for the rear window recall & see if it's been done,just bring them your vin # & vehicle ofcourse,mine had the recall & my wifes didn't & there both 04's kinda strange
