I just got to throw this out here: Where is the info that came with your jeep? You should not be going off of " I think the window sticker said..." but what you were provided in writing. Only you have your best interest at heart, not the dealer or manufacturer.

Even under the powertrain warranty, there are rules, inclusions, exclusions. Said seal may or may not have been covered past 12,000 miles depending on what your warranty states.
