Mother of God.

That Liberty is friggin sweet. The red interior sets everything off very nicely too. If only they had put a 4.7 in it, I would have fully crapped my pants.

I removed the rear bracket on the first pic. Its just in the way if you build sliders that replace the plastic

Thanks a ton for the pictures.

Am I correct that the only place there is a significant void of any kind between the sheetmetal and the exterior of the plastic is on the mudflap bumps? If so there doesn’t appear to be a ton of benefit to removing it and putting on full length sliders other than the few inches at the plastic mudbumps.

Thanks for all the pictures you took there Digger. So I guess removing that plastic piece really doesn't do a whole heck of a lot. Basically there for aesthetics.

it depends on how you design your rock sliders. it can be a big benefit or not at all

I agree.. that is the most awesome thing EVER! Looks to me like its a more production-ready concept. No idea if that's the truth, but if they make it, I WILL own one!

Sliders like the ones digger have or most of the regular rock sliders do not gain anything from removing the plastic since your sliders will hit the metal under witch is at the same height than the plastic. My design replace the plastic part and use a huge plate to support it instead of square tubes so I gain almost 2'' of clearence under the sliders

scrool down to nosnorb_808's post. my design is similar to his but i have rails that stick out for more protection
