Hmm..so ok, seems like all auto trannies blow their diffs....

sorry guys, just fooling around.

Great effort there Fultimer, hope it works. The diff collar doesn't fit (or almost doesn't fit) the CRD front so I'm very interested in what your guy comes up with.

The big advantage I will have over most of you is having the extra Dana. That is the one he will be working on. With the Dana sitting on his bench he will be able to make the collar fit perfectly.

I have 32" tires and 4.10's and it totally sucks,4.56's for 32" would be perfect though. Can't what for those 5.13 gears  ,I should see a drastic MPG increase for city driving.

if i ever blow my diff..... depending on how much a replacement is.. i may do a SFA.. or buy the replacement and have braces welded for reinforcements... and i think a 6 speed would be absolutely fine with 33's and 4.10's. i have 32's and 3.55's now and it doesnt bug me at all power wise.. and still gets 17mpg.

we need pic's fulltimer :)

I'm going 33s and 4.88s. Man I can't wait!

This could be cool if it works out for those keeping the D30a though. Hope it all pans out.

But it would just blow your mind (power wise) to drive it with 4.10s or even 3.73s no one until they do it realizes the difference, with 4.10s you could pull 20 easy I bet,.....but .........

Bracing may help to a point but even if everyone done it there would still be some breakage, no way around it.

Any progress on this? I've got a spare D30a now. Looking for some ideas.

That would be fine. Just need more torque.
Gas torque that is...see below!

Could be because CRD's account for about 1% of overall sales and the mall really isn't stressing them much?

I was thinking they can't keep them running long enough to make something break
