Some fun in the snow!

Just took a couple pix messin around in the snow today.... Nuthin crazy just a little playtime after work....Also some new pix of the new wheels I received via FEDEX today.... I really have no idea how to or if I can post pix yet, but here's a link to my flickr page.....

thats not snow, its just a dusting. my drive way is worse.

wheels should look good, keep debating tires wheels and a lift on mine.

LOL!!! Yea I know, I was hopin for more but thats all we got down here! I was just mesin around on my property...

Yea I finally settled on the rims... the guy really took care of me... I priced them at 3 other places and his price was like $70 less... gonna try and get some tires today....
Ill post pics if I get them mounted....

Thats awesome man.... I wish we got some action like that... My sister lives up in NH.... You wanna talk about SNOW! They get blasted, pretty much all season.... That looks beautiful though where you live...... Thats a real nice scene to wake up to every morning!!! Thanks for sharing man.....

AND makin me feel bad cause i got no snow!!! :lol:

I got my wheels and tires mounted. I was gonna go with the M/T But decided to go with an A/T instead....Pep Boys had a pretty good deal. they have buy 3 get 1 free, with a mial in rebate.... so it worked out pretty well.
Im gonna be doin more on than off roading..... But these should be good in the mud, snow, etc.

I'll post pics later

So I take it you just had the factory tpm taken out of your stock rims?

No... They wouldnt fit in the new wheels..... The service mgr. said I had to get an adapter. He also said If i get them within 90 days they'll install em for me..... Had him put it in writing....So Im gonna have to look into the adapters now....

Yea, But it's a little odd cause mine hasn't come on yet. Im assuming it will, Im not even really overly concerned with them. Im gonna investigate and see if there are adapters and what the deal is with them.

If anyone else has had a problem with TPM's and aftermarket wheels, please chime in and give your 2 cents....

OK, I finally got some daytime shots of the rig with the new wheels and tires.... I only went up on the Aspect ratio to a 75 with the tire, the rest of the dimensions are stock.

I should be getting my daystar lift any day now, so hopefully by next week I should have it done .....

Well.... let me know what ya think.........

The stock tire sizes are 225/75r16 or 235/70r16.... so what do you have?

Yea cause I told the guy that I wanted to up the size to a 235/75 and he said it was an oddball size.... I hope.... They look a decent size on the truck so I'm happy with the way they look....Maybe they are the stock size....Now I have to go check!!!! Well my plan was to keep my stock rims and get some mudders for those, for when I take it on trails.....That way I can just run these on the street through the seasons. My main concern was having something decent for the snow and rain....Cause I really was not happy with those goodyears....
