(CD, probably lucky for you you didn't come... )

We found a hill... not just any hill either, and it seemed like a good shortcut to the pub.
took 2 hours to climb 550m's up a hill, taking turns spotting, road building and driving. I think the girls thought we were a bit crazy, my wife kind of freaked when the view from through the windscreen went... bush... bush with bit of sky... then SKY (HEY WHERE'S THE BUSH!!!) front right wheel was way way in the air... couldn't say exactly how far as i was too busy trying to gently back it down after the left rear slid into a huge rut, looks pretty good on the video.

no pictures just yet.. i have to try and get some stills out of the video..

EXCELLENT DAY :)

damage bill from this little climb was
broken side step (needed to replace those factory ones anyway they we're pretty beaten up)
bent the left support bracket for the nudge bar... car dropped into a rut and the weight/momentum all ended up on this corner, i guess enough to bend it good and proper (Sorry cmohr they just weren't Stephen Tough)
pushed the front bumper around a bit... part of the fall into the rut

now to get some rock rails and a bullbar.

one question, lifting in IFS is pretty common, are disco's or removing the swaybar really worth it?

Taking off the swaybar can give a little more stability off road, as it lets the front settle a bit better and doesn't just force all the flex to the rear... having said that, A big rut, and anything will probably lift a wheel..

Looking forward to the pics and vid..
