i dont know if anyone has tried yet but could a kj bumper be fitted to a kk? im sure it would not be a perfect fit, but it might work. probably just have to weld on new frame mounting plates to bolt it on or maybe just drill new holes in the mounting plates already there. we need to find out the distances of the frame rails both inside and out on both models. anyone have a kj to measure? if so i can go measure my kk. if this has already been discussed sorry, didnt see the post, but i think retrofitting a kj bumper is alot easier than scratch building a new one. i would guess you would need to take the saw to the fender flares. do you have to do that on the kjs?

I think you would be better off just making one for your KK or have someone make you one.

I think the frame mounts would fit but not the grill / light / fenders / ps cooler

A lot of effort and money spent to end up with something ugly at best (not that the kj bumper are ugly just the fittment  )

was just a thought. as for having someone make it, theres not a fab shop anywere within 400 miles that could make one and you should see my welding  besides you ever try cutting 1/4 inch with a grinding wheel, circular saw or sawzall? it sucks and looks like poop.

haha ya I do, I made my front bumper but I had all access to a welding shop when I did it, but I have cut out several things out of 3/8" since then in my garage using my angle grinder, so I know it sucks :)

Here's one I always wondered: Is there any possibility that the front bumper from a Commander has any mounting similarities to a Lib? (KK)

I would think it would be wider than the KJ and the mounting would more than likely be off
