Well, this may be one area where I wish I had an auto instead of the 6-spd....

That is when you are supposed to head to the lake and go skiing. Water skiing that is!

Daddy (me) had a brilliant idea one summer evening not too long ago. He took the family for a weekend camping trip to Anza Borrego and neglected to check the forecasted temperature. It was 110-ish at night. Hey, no problem. There's a pool nearby, right? Uh, it was natural hot-spring pool: 115 degree. Greeeeeeaaaaat.

Went to Anza Borrego, ended up in Julia Pfeiffer Burns SP. Funny how that trip went.

Well I just wish the weather would hold steady, it dropped to the single digits last night but is supposed to hit 70 on the weekend. In december, we had a day that peaked at 72 and then dropped to 25. Layers just don't work unless you pack them in a bag in the morning and carry it around. :D Oklahoma weather...

Regardless of how cold it gets you can always put on enough to stay warm.

There's only so much you can take off when it's hot thoguh

Does anyone want to warm it up for me while I sit here in the warmth? Didn't think so. Sigh.

Time for remote start, methinks?

Best money I ever spent. If you get cold winters, a remote start is just the best thing to have on your vehicle.

I got a remote starter for them cold NY winters...press a button and the Jeep would be warm when I got in...so nice. Now in Phoenix I press the button and it get that AC crankin for me. Its the little things

I did a similar thing a couple years back. Went tenting at Lake Greenbelt. We roasted the first night. The next day i went to the closest town and bought a window unit. Hooked it up and cooled off the tent the next 2 nights. Now that is RedNeck. But hey, we werre at least comfortable and had fun.

Got back to a balmy 45 degrees today here in DFW area today. Supposed to be mid 60's tomorrow. Guess I will be changing my KJ oil and rotating tires since it will be beautiful out tomorrow.
