I still haven't had a chance to check out Watalgan State Forest so we
could be in for a bit of an adventure on the Sunday? It should be alright.
If not we can alway's go for leisurely drive along Rule's Beach at low
tide.

Hope the weather is good for your arrival, it has been raining on and off since the weekend.
What you like me to do on Sunday, come and find you at Deepwater at a certain time ?
or do you have anything else you would like to do. Not sure about any of the track's as most
around here tend to be slippery after a bit of rain but I am up for anything (well almost, get your
mind out of the gutter CD)

What is the best way in comming from the north? Turn off at Miramvale and then head south fron agness, or go down further and come up through Rosedale? I have not had a good look at a map yet, The only one I have is old and small scale.

Mate turn off at Miriam Vale and head towards Agnes, you will come to a T intersection then turn right
heading for Rosedale & Bundaberg and look for Deepwater sign's. The turn off's have changed so
you will need to keep an eye out for the sign's. You use to come to T intersection's for the turn off's but
they have straightened the road a bit and changed the turn off's. It is the quickest way to Gladstone from
Bundaberg

Susan and I had a great day on Sunday (sorry about the crappy weather following us)
It was really nice to finally get to meet up with the GME MUD's, JAG's and PIPELINER's
in person and spend the day with you all. Bad weather of course put a dampner on everyone
and the easier option of a beach drive along Rules Beach was taken (short but sweet)

thanks again everyone looking foward to the next time

The Muds are home safe and well, Thanks everyone for a great weekend in spite of the weather, funny that, I still managed to get sun burnt :? We shall return.
Thanks Jason and Susan for coming out for the day, Imelda said we are going back to Rules beach sometime to camp and fish in that creek.

Yes, we went out via Agnes - far better trip than the potholed road!

Australia Day was celebrated in style (if a day early!)

The beach run was enjoyed by all

but the hit of the weekend was definitely the rock pool!
