It was rough enough to be considered an issue. I drove another '05 a few days ago and it was smooth. Any guesses on the "hum"? I think I'm going to pass on this one unless they come down on the price. If I decide to take it I'll make them deliver it to me at work. It's a 40mi drive so that'll give me peace of mind that it won't grenade right away.

If it has only been driven 800 miles in two years then it could need a tune up, needs the old seafoam trick done, hum could be rear u joints starting to go. Could be several things. It is worse for a vehicle to be sitting around than on the road everyday for sure! I would still check out others plus with the chrome looking wheels and grill

I like the chrome

I bought my Cherokee with a 3" lift and 31's a couple years ago thinking I'd get into wheeling but I've only been on a couple actual trips, and I think it would be the same with the Liberty. If anything, I'll probably do a 1-2" lift with a slightly larger A/T tire. I had a little side business going for a while making bumpers for XJ's which was cool.


I'd use it to haul this to the playground

One other thing I forgot to mention is the tire pressure light would flash randomly. I searched and someone said that's the spare sensor but someone else said it's an error in the system. Which is it?

Well I'm glad I let my patience win out. The dealer called me tonight and said, "uhh there are some problems with the rear axle and a few other leaks we found so we're not going to sell you this car." lol
