My dad has Lymphoma Cancer, and it could be terminal. We don't know whats going to happen as of yet, all that will be determined Friday. With my dad out, I may not have a job anymore, and I may lose my liberty. So with that if I'm not around too much, I just wanted to say I love the website guys and keep it running as long as possible!

Sorry to hear about your father. As I'm sure all here will agree, family first. Take care, and hope to see you back here!

My prayer goes out for you, your father and your family.

You can always get another KJ and another job, so take care of your father, he's a one of a kind.

Thanks guys you're all definitely something special, thanks for all the kind words. I found out though, I won't be losing my KJ after all but my dad still has lymphoma cancer, but I have a job working for Oklahoma State Senator Tom Ivester as an assistant. So I will probably be on as much as before because I am getting a laptop so I can watch my dad and still be on here to ask and help answer questions.

Update: My dad went into the hospital tonight for surgery and they found out that the lymphoma has spread throughout his body. They cut three major lymph nodes out and sent them off for diagnosis as far as if it is Hodgkins Disease or Terminal, but anyway about it it's only delaying the inevitable of death. I hate to say this but I am going to lose my dad unless there is a miracle

I kind of know how you feel. My uncle/Godfather, found out this week that he has Multiple Myeloma. Cancer in the blood and bones?
They had no idea what it was until the other day. So, we were all in the dark.
Tuesday they told his two kids, to have the other two fly in from TX, and MI. Before the end of the week. (Without knowing what was wrong with him.)

Wednesday they had a meeting with all of the kids, and aunt. Telling them what they had found.

He will be okay, but never better than that. He will be on chemo, for the rest of his life.

I feel you. To an extent. I don't know what I would do if it was my dad. But this is getting close.

Your father will be in my prayers.

Thanks guys for all your prayers they have seemed to work. My dad was told by the doctor it is not Hodgkins or Terminal Lymphoma that it is lymphoma but like lymphitis or something like that so it's not as serious as Hodgkins or Terminal so they are going to put a pump thing in like his collarbone area to help with the chemo treatments and hopefully eradicate all the cancer from his body. We will find out soon how the Chemo is going to go! I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for all the encouraging words!

Cancer is very hard to deal with, I wish you and your father the best and hope it turns out alright.

A while back my uncle found out he had skin, lung and brain cancer and was given 3 months to live. He made through all his treatments and has now been cancer-free for 5 years and counting. Just don't ever give up and be optimistic!
