The 'thing' with the green hoses is a Provent oil separator.

The CRD blows out some oil through the CCV and that is pumped back toward the intake maniford through...the intercooler and hoses.

Causing premature failure of the so called 'CAC' or turbo-hoses.

So we do the 'provent mod'.

We can now get better hoses made by SAMCO, mainly thanks to L.O.S.T!

You guys are missing so much...

Back on topic:

So yes Jeepjeepster, this is a CRD.

Seems like JBA copied the rockcrawler cradle...at least he dropped the steering rack. Which was the weakest point of the 7up lift.

I know an SFA is better, but if this is going to stay under the $5k mark...that's not enough for even half an SFA mod.

No, Tony, we are well aware that the CRD needs many mods.....

I love that someone is pushing the envelope for KJ's, but I am not personally sold on this design.

Then back off this thread and let the dude work. I mean you guys don't even know how any of it is put together and allready everyone is crying "mall crawler" "run for the hills" "not sold" and other crap when you don't even know what is being done. Easy down please.

Dig the idea, dig the idea that right now someone is making new parts for the lib, dig that they want to try something that is not "OME HD spings and Racho's" which is all that is heard or spoken on this site.

WHOA STOP THE PRESS

We don't know how any of this is put together?
Don't even know what is being done?
Yep we are all beginners and have never lifted anything before
Come on give us a little credit here, a lot of us have spent a ton of hours under Libertys and other 4WDs we know what will work and where the weak links will be

I like Marlin, he has treadted me fair and YES It's great someone is making new parts but we have all been there, seen that before, there is only so much you can do and we have seen it done and tried, unless he has a hidden surprise up his sleeve but that would cost more than what he going to charge.
The front suspension of the Liberty just does not lend itself well to lifts of that range, period.
PLUS the fact remains that you are using a D30a with the lowest gears available of 4.10 so with a 33/or bigger tire it is going to be a DOG!!
Why not yell mall crawler, if you can not use it for the way you should, yes maybe it will work OK off road but it will still be a dog out there doing it

Ok tommyboy. Where does it say the kit will use a D30a front diff? Where? I have read everything i can find and see nothing to back up the stinky poo slinging you are doing by guessing how this kit will be made. If you know how to build 4x4's better than anyone why are you not a Jeep Engineer? Why is your door to your house not knocked down by all the Baja 1000 teams coming to look for your help?

If your not interested and a lift this big threatens your manhood in any way, , why are you in here bashing it and subscribed to recieve email updates about it? Your just threading along to start crap and bash this product. I do not appreshiate that at all.

First I will not lower myself to your level and start the name calling,
I DO NOT APPRESHIATE wait spell check time its appreciate
I have a name and what you used is not it.
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS SAID NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT THIS LIFT, I MUST BE TO BE ATTACKED LIKE THIS

The reason I don't work for Jeep is I make WAY MORE money where I am
This is America and I can voice my opinion any time I want to.
This kit in no way threatens my manhood
Like I said I think Marlin makes great stuff, I have his UCAs but ....

Oh well let the youngins take over I will sit back and eat some more pop corn while they skip along in la la land

you are so funny, let the games begin
and a side note don't be so serious , take a break and laugh
