We actually got record snowfall here in Vegas yesterday. Mount Charleston got over 11" in 24 hours. They closed the airport because they don't have snow plows or de-icing equipment (it costs millions of dollars to purchase the equipment and they only need it every 15 years or so). I guess if you had to be stuck somewhere, Vegas is a good place to be. Even if you sleep in the airport you can still play the slots . The freeways were practically a parking lot because there was an inch of slush on the road and no one here knows what to do when the roads are even wet .
