It's the chance you take i suppose but i had the petrol and the diesel models. The V6 petrol was thirsty but reliable and the diesel was an absolute joy to drive however a lot of owners and ex owners have said that the diesels are prone to cracked cylinder heads. Mine broke on about 45000K's and would of cost me about 4000 Euros to repair but i had an extended warranty on her and i would suggest that you do the same if you buy the diesel
