Seen this on another board, thought it was funny since being in both the Marines and the Army it kinda is true.

Marine Corps Rules:
1. Be courteous to everyone, friendly to no one.
2. Decide to be aggressive enough, quickly enough.
3. Have a plan.
4. Have a back-up plan, because the first one probably won't work.
5. Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet * even your friends…
6. Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun whose caliber does not start with a "4."
7. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Ammo is cheap. Life is expensive.
8. Move away from your attacker. Distance is your friend. (Lateral & diagonal preferred.)
9. Use cover or concealment as much as possible.
10. Flank your adversary when possible. Protect yours.
11. Always cheat; always win. The only unfair fight is the one you lose.
12. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber, stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived.
13. If you are not shooting, you should be communicating your intention to shoot.

Navy SEAL's Rules:
1. Look very cool in sunglasses.
2. Kill every living thing within view.
3. Adjust speedo.
4. Check hair in mirror.

US Army Rangers Rules:
1. Walk in 50 miles wearing 75 pound rucksack while starving.
2. Locate individuals requiring killing.
3. Request permission via radio from "Higher" to perform killing.
4. Curse bitterly when mission is aborted.
5. Walk out 50 miles wearing a 75 pound rucksack while starving.

US Army Rules:
1. Curse bitterly when receiving operational order.
2. Make sure there is extra ammo and extra coffee.
3. Curse bitterly.
4. Curse bitterly.
5. Do not listen to 2nd LT's; it can get you killed.
6. Curse bitterly.

US Air Force Rules:
1. Have a cocktail.
2. Adjust temperature on air-conditioner.
3. See what's on HBO.
4. Ask "what is a gunfight?"
5. Request more funding from Congress with a "killer" Power Point presentation.
6. Wine & dine 'key' Congressmen, invite DOD & defense industry executives.
7. Receive funding, set up new command and assemble assets.
8. Declare the assets "strategic" and never deploy them operationally.
9. Hurry to make 13:45 tee-time.
10. Make sure the base is as far as possible from the conflict but close enough to have tax exemption.

US Navy Rules:
1. Go to Sea.
2. Drink Coffee.
3. Deploy Marines

Ha! That's pretty funny! I'll have to see if my SEAL buddies like that or not.

We don't care what your SEAL Teamster buddies like
just messin around :P

USMC #14 - Don't draw fire, it annoys everyone around you

US Army #7 Twist your Irish Pennants as if they were dreadlocks, keep them in plain sight. Longer Pennants symbolize higher status amongst your unkempt bretheren

it's funny that this is here... While at a National contest, the ramy had a video simulator set up... well every time I shot some one, I would double tap them.. after 3 or 4 kills, the army dude was getting mad at me and told me it was against some rule

gineva technicality but feel free to tap till they hit the dirt or drop their weapon. you'd pretty much have to double tap with the 5.56

similar to the ma deuce and other .50 cals not supposta be used against personnel. but if thats all ya got.. hey.. you were shootin at the vehicle..

not sure i want to go into more detail than that, not sure what the forum rules are on such discussion and what not but you get the drift, the army guy was 'kinda sorta partialy correct' but to be honest he was probably just ticked that you were out scoring him on his favorite 'video game'

I laughed, & then I sent this to a navy retiree friend. He responded with:

Do you know why they put Marines on Navy ships? To (snake eat) the sailors. I promised I would throw this "edited" version on....

I showed it to an Air Force retiree I work with, and he responded: Yeah, the smart guys do join the A.F. You can see where they put the guys who can't pass the ASVAB.....

Double tap what, the intercom? the mouse button? The admin clerk?

Just make sure there are no (C)ommunist (N)ews (N)etwork reporters anywhere near by should you ever decide to do that. A fellow Marine already made that mistake due to the previous days encounter with a few who were playing 'opossum' and it ended up killing and severely wounding half the squad.

I distinctly recall when the idea of that sounded so fitting, loctite doesn't hold those screws in too well. In practice it isn't something you'll enjoy, but! it's one of those moral cheers. Airforce or not, keep your mag spring serviced. We want ya back here wheelin'

Errr?

Im far enough up here in the middle of no where, it would take CNN a few hours to get here. i guess it might be a little different here because it involve nukes so we gotta kill all the bad guys that are trying to steal it.
