Hey gang, well a few weeks ago I/we wife and I went looking at a Liberty CRD Sport model. Well since it was going to be wife's daily driver we test drove it and she didn't like it, she didn't feel comfortable with sitting so close to the windshield, I was good with it but then again I'm 5'10" compared to her 5'2"
So we bought a WK Limited, now that's her ride, but I would still like a 06 Libby.

The Libby will be my daily driver and I want a CRD but what trim level would be the best? I do want to upgrade it with sliders, lift and other smart things to make it offroad worthy.

So is it:

Sport
Renegade
Limited

Hey Joey, kinda up late for you unless your a night crew worker.
Do you know why Rennys are so hard to find used?

Course I'm looking only at 06 CRDs

ThunderbirdJunkie bought a Sport because he knew he would rash up those pretty painted fender flares. Rashed painted flares look worse than rashed unpainted flares ITBJHO

Im in college, so I just got back to my dorm about 15 min ago  , Im not sure why but now that you say it I dont see very many around here for sale, just sports and limiteds, they should have made a CRD Renny that would be pretty sweet, I guess you could make your CRD a Renny though.

Sport seats suck, limited's have better seats. The renagade model was never offered with a CRD.Most CRD's are limited's.

Same here, I vote for the limited, it has a few more creature comforts. Though getting the sport to save the cash is a great idea too.

Im not to fond of the grey fender flares on the sport. I like the matching ones on the limited

For being a DD definately go with the creature comforts of the Limited. I would not have it any other way. I love my Limited in that respect.

I have a 04 sport and my wife has a 02 limited. I would get the sport again if I had to get another one.

IMO the sport looks better. I think all the painted plastic looks cheap.

i think the opposite about the sport and limited. I think the grey plastic looks cheap and was just put on there without getting it painted.

X2 and my Limited has chrome plated door trim and grill that really sets it off  And the power seats allow much more adjustment

If you have a dog that regularly rides with you, go for the Limited. We did because the dog fur is much easier to remove from leather seats than it is from fabric.

My wife adds that, at first, she thought heated seats were a waste, but now, loves the bun warmers.

Compare the features for each model side by side to see which package will suit you best.

Definitely Sport. Didnt buy Jeep for creature comforts. I also prefer the grey fenders. If I wanted chrome and heated seats, I would have considered a luxury SUV.

Chrome wont get yah home  But heated seats will make it a lot nicer :D I got the limited with no chrome, but lots of features, and yes, sometimes creature comforts belong in a jeep, i mean, jeep is reliability, the ability to go anywhere, and for some of us, we want to do that comfortably :)

Sport looks better, and to all of those heated seats etc, I wish mine didn't even have power windows , I like simple easy to fix nothing to go wrong transportation. In 117500 miles I have never wished I had another seat to sit my butt on
