Hey all. Over the last weekend some idiot appears to have taken a hammer or something to one of my stock fog lights while I was parked at a bar. Didn't do any other damage but destroyed the factory Hella lamp. I just ordered some replacements and was wondering how hard it was to remove and who else had replaced these. I have an 06 renegade and I am referring to the fogs that are mounted on the bumper from the factory. I am replacing them with Hella 500s and am mounting 4 more on the cross bar I am fabricating. Any help with removal of the stock ones and wiring of the ones on the light bar would be much appreciated. I don't have the factory light bar. Thanks.

To take it off all you do is unscrew it right behind the housing.
Pop the hood and take off the grill to unhook the connection.
That's what I did when I was trying to figure out how to install my hella 500's.

Thanks. I was thinking that was what I would need to do but wanted to check with someone who had done it first.
