I found a set of these at a local pawn shop. They have 4 newish Goodyear Foretera's on them they want $650 for all four. Does this sound like a good deal or not?

why do you want 17 inch rims? You can buy new tires for 650

nothing. outside diameter with stock rubber would be about the same depending on brand. Also, if you want to buy a different size tire, the 17's have way fewer options than a 16".

Don't intented to thread jack here, but I've got the limited 17"s (paid about $150 from a friend for the set and got used tires from work for free) Either way I've seem them a lot cheaper than than. You could probably get them to come down.

I just got my 2.5" lift installed and am looking for a good tire size to match on these 17's. I'm thinking 245/70/r17 is going to be the best. Any input?

Anyone gone with a 255/70/17 before? Should be 31.1 dia so I'd imagine it would fit (lifted) without any problems... I should probably make my own thread about 17" tire sizes =D
