Well, I the best trade in I could get was $8,200 so I decided to keep it and start the mods.

I finally ordered the Cummins lift pump but not the wire harness. Making my own harness is the plan. I looked in to ordering the pins and sockets needed for the pump and they want a minimum order of $50.00!!

So my question is:

Does any one have any extra pins and sockets for the fuel pump wiring?
I would pay for them obviously....I just don't need 50 bucks worth.

(I hope  )

I might can help. I just finished installing the pump a few weeks ago....and Love It. I have an 05CRD and just added 2 new wires into my existing wire harness. (ground and pump power)

I purchased a new 05 gasser harness and and stripped the 2 wires that I needed. I can pull a couple more wires out and mail them if that will work for you. Just say the word and PM me your address. No charge

You don't need sockets, just 3 pins and wire

If this is what you are looking for...I can send.
By the way, these will be 6 inches too short...so you will have to splice in wire, as I did. I haven't received your PM yet, So just let me know if this works.

You will just have to cut off one end and put a circular thingamagiggy on the other end for grounding to the vehicle.

The wires you use for the pump are 18 ga. The wires that are left over after the install are 20 ga or smaller. You will need to solder on the ends of the wires that someone sends you. Don't splice the existing wires, you have too much resistance and your pump won't get the power it is supposed to have. I got some wires from someone here and cut of the ends and soldered in 18 ga wires. Mine has worked great!!!

Install went great, runs like a top.

I just wanted to thank everyone that did all the leg work and research, I would have never attempted this mod without all the confidence inspiring write-ups!

YOU GUYS ROCK!
