All the wrangler we get are CRD's, and the rubicons with the 3.8, I would like to put my hands on a Rubicon CRD...

An I-4 runs with enough vibration and needs counter balance shafts when over 2.0L as a rule of thumb.

All of the V-4 4 cycle engines I have been around, even the small ones really vibrate. If there were a V-4 2.8L 4 cycle diesel (2 cycle would run much smother) you could mount it on a sled tow it around to use it for soil compaction before you put down the gravel to make a road.

I suspect the salesman is trying too hard to sell.

The only thing that could make it batter would be a 5-speed manual transmission.

I don't understand the international only thing. I've known people who've owned gray market cars.

I'm sure they just made a typo. Probably supposed to be 4V, for 4 valve per cylinder.

This is very common, most vin decoding programs list the engine as a V4. Pretty common for the older I6 in the XJs to get listed as V6's.
