Obihann, I have been following all your posts as of late and all I can say is "cheaper isn't always better" you can do it right or you can do it cheap. it's your KJ do what you want but we are just offering advice and to call AMSOIL a company that is ripping people off is just absurd. I am done offering you any advice...you won't take it anyway. You have your mindset and I have mine. we differ, so be it. :lol: 8)

Sheesh man, to say you wont offer any help because they have a different opinion is to say you won't play in the internet. We all have different opinions, thats what makes us a community. My opinion is that $180 a year for oil changes is a rip off. Espically when I've seen cars run on cheap oil, over a million miles. Yes, personally, I've seen. It may be better but honestly, its not worth it, not for me at least. At the premium they charge, $15 for a 1L bottle, it is just crazy. Theres no need to start attacking me because I called some company a rip off, i take most the advice I rear on here. And advice is just that, advice, I dont HAVE to take it. You guys seem to be sold on this amsoil stuff, and the only evidence I have seen is case studies paid for my amsoil... If I was selling a product, at a 3x premium, I would say as much as I could about it, and I would also fund people to say the same things... I think you need to calm down and step back a bit man. You seem to think that by giving me your opinion, I HAVE to take it, I'm just trying to defend my opinion.

hes not attacking you on the oil, its the mindset in general. IIRC you planned on putting a daystar spacer in your stock struts and coils to save money. or not lift it at all and try to clear 255/75s.

I've gone through tones of lift ideas :roll: I realized I have to do it right so I can use it the way I want. I also realized I can't do that today, and have to wait. In the meantime I will be fixing up some other stuff on the Jeep though....

Obi,
I personally won't be giving you any more advice. I feel, and I may be wrong here, that no matter what advice is given you always then try to contradict the advice given to match your way of thinking. Why ask if you already know what you want to do? good luck and happy KJ wheeling. 8)

Do you feel that when someone asks for advice, they are then committed to do whatever you say? I ask advice to get ideas, opinions etc, then form my own logic based on that. I feel bad for the guy that started this post, this has gone waaay off topic. He was originally asking about his flowmaster. Nobody on here ever started asking about amsoil oil, I was saying I don't think its worth the cost, and asking why people think it is. And as far as opinons, the only reason behind what I've been told so far is "amsoil makes great oil, because amsoil says they make great oil". This being said they were the only oil booth at the boat show last month, so, they must be doing something right :)

Agreed. I'll step up and step back here. Sorry to the owner of the tread for the hijack, sorry to the club for getting a bit carried away, and sorry to whoevers toes I stepped on, no harm meant. I've said this before, its the internet, we all have our own opinion, and even when I ask, I don't have to do what was suggested. I think we all, at least myself, take stuff on here a bit too personal, so I am sorry. Lets all be friends, before the mods have to come in here and we get into a situation like bnb again lol.

In a weak attept to get the thread back on track;

Just received my Super 44 today, should be installing next week sometime.

Not sure if I can accurately comment on whether I feel any gain with it since I have been running the stock exhaust with a moderate gash in it for a little over a week.

So anything will feel and pull better, my current exhaust is crtainly helping me get used to the expected increase in rumble though :twisted:

doo doo!, you mean I am not going to be able to pull 10's?!!

What if I run Amsoil, and a K&N Cold Air intake?!!!!

Looks like I threw my money out the window again, the wife's going to be pissed, maybe I can blame the lack of speed on the rear bumper and tell her I need a RL light duty to pull 10's.
