Is that the black plastic piece that is the PCV system with the hoses are attached to for the EHM or Provent? If you are doing a EHM or have a Provent do you still need to change the filter? I tried finding the part on the Jeep parts site and could not conduct a search by that description. Also no help from local parts store. Probably have to get it from a dealer?

The boost pressure solenoid filter looks a lot like an inline gas filter for a lawnmower. It is on the passenger side, in the general area of the power steering fluid reservoir, but further out and further aft. If you find the transmission computer, you went too far. The filter has nothing to do with crankcase venting. Instead, it filters the air that is drawn into the turbo controller whenever the vacuum is vented to atmosphere. Or is it the air drawn into the little vac pump for the turbo controller? It's one or the other anyway...
