Hey guys, I just moved to Arizona from Vegas, but I am no where near Tucson or Phoenix for that matter. I work in Laughlin as a Medic, and I commute back in forth from Kingman where I now live and Vegas because that is where my company is based out of. I can only assume your meetings and events are very south of me, and I work alot or im in school. I just bought my KJ 3 days ago, and I havent left this website since. Just trying to learn all I can can about my first jeep. Just wanted to hear what you all think....

Thanx,

Mike

Mike, first of all, welcome to Arizona and the KJ world. Yes this site can be consuming. It is great. For membership, check out the sticky at the top of the AZ section. Need to shoot Roachman (dan) an email to get the forms. We'd love to have you as a member. True most of our stuff has been further south (well north for me), but we have talked about runs around the state. LOST is a great group as you'll see, welcome to the fun.

Mike

*you'll make number 3 for AZ. lol

I just dont want to join, and then not be able to participate in group functions. Id feel like its a waste. But on the other hand I want to build up my KJ and take it in the mud, rocks, hills or whatever and enjoy what it means to own a jeep. So Im kinda confused on what to do. I just live so far away from you guys.

I started out in South Carolina as a LOST member and have migrated here, I wouldn't rule out distance too much as a lot of us are hitting runs all over the US together. You might even be able to get some members up near you. LOST started out as a couple people and has grown intow what it is today.

You aren't that far away for some big events I'll be driving 8 hours or so (?) to MOAB; some guys will be coming out from California on the 22'd of this month to do a weekend run with us (6 hrs or so).

Its more about the community, and our ideas anyway. Welcome to our boards.... and don't let those Cali guys steal you :-p

Just kidding. Those AZ guys & gals really know how to wheel and party. Some great down to earth people in that AZ group for sure.

You think it's a coincidence that we're all here?! BWAHAHAHA!!!

BTW, JJ, you still planning on coming out here? If you need help looking around the Phx-metro area I know quite a few real estate people around here. I used to work with them when I worked for Goodyear PD.

Mike, Image and hope to see ya around sometime. Man, may have to figure out a new meeting spot. Casa Grande isn't exactly halfway from Kingman.
