Here's some pictures of the picnic location. There is a park for kids to run around and play in and a bar, restaurant, motel and cabins for anyone that wants to make an overnight of it. Our travel trailer is there so we will have access to stove, microwave, bbq and whatever misc incidentals come up. Plus there is a store a mile or so down the road for last minute stuff

Yeah I'll be alone unless I can get some Libertys from VJC to come. Is this just a Liberty run or can other heeps go too? I'll just bring water for myself if everyone already will bring their own. :)

No mods really needed, the trail is rated easy. BTW, what food can we put you down for?

All makes and models of Jeeps are welcome... the forums new name is "LOST Jeeps". Just make sure we get a head count and they bring food to share.

No wheeling mods so much as they are, comfort mods. I should hopefully have an Engel fridge installed somewhat and an ARB Awning. Well I was hoping to get some homemade cookies or other sort of desserts to bring since my Birthday is around that time, but I might just bring some store bought treats for after the main course....lol.

If the Jeep is still running and in one piece, I will be there and will bring whatever food items are desired.

Paul... what's wrong with your Jeep??? If you can make it, we need hotdog buns, tomatoes and onions (we can slice them up at Vern's camp). Let me know if that's okay and I'll put you on the list.

I have already been instructed that I will be working that weekend, covering for a Team Leader that will be out that weekend. I was planning on bringing my dues too, but since that won't work I will now paypal them. You guys have fun and I will be looking forward to pics and stories.

Okay... at least she was able to find a job, especially in a small town like Holbrook. Today is Beth's last day at DHL. She's taking a course in medical billing and transcription in hopes of landing a decent job in these tough economic times.

Hope to meet you on another run sometime soon.

We met at FITS last year. Your wife was taking about DHL because I had my FedEx coat on at the dinner. :D

only a few days away!!! YEAH!!!!!!

Anybody camping the night before? Vern how far is your camp ground from the meeting spot. Any closer spots? We'll be getting in late so still undecided if I want to camp the night or what.

I'm looking forward to seeing everybody there for the ride and great picnic afterwards.

Mike... I don't know the exact location, but Vern's camp near Roosevelt Lake is on the other side of the mountain from where we'll be starting. From the lake going north on 188 and going back south on 87 to the starting point is at the very least 60~70 miles.

PM sent...

AJ

Cool, good info. Time to start reading up on the area to quiz the Trail Leader.
