 Post subject: Why is front diff dirtier?

I had seen a couple posts mentioning that when people changed there front diff fluid it MUCH was dirtier than the rear.

Any explanation for this...besides maybe the drain and fill plugs maybe don't seal fully? Just curious

Less fluid capacity,less then half of the rear diff.Plus if you have the front skid it does not dissipate heat like the rear diff can from the blockage of cooling air.
