Only thing I think would have been cool to see is to have the side tubes plated either on the backside or in between the tubes so the tube could still be seen.

I thought about plating the back section as well but I like just the tubes and it keeps it more in line with the front as well. Maybe I'll suck it up and go back out, snap a few in the driveway with a flash.

What I meant is the tubes that wrap around the sides. Would have been cool to keep the Tube theme by only plating Behind them or between them so you could still see the tubes wrapping around the sides under the flares.

Gottcha. I figured since they were on the corners and more likely to get hung up on I'd plate them on the outside to help prevent it. I tried to think the design through but I'm sure I'll think of something I wish I did.

I would do the same, I don't really like the "open" look. But don't get me wrong it DOES look great. :D

He can do anything you want and I mean anything. I am gonna have him "finish" the front of mine by adding some more tube to go under the turn signals which will also cover up the unibody more.

Since someone would never get back to me about a light for the rear plate I picked up some LiteN Boltz and they are pretty sweet. I also covered and hid all the wires and will take some more pics here shortly.

Sickness....

S-I-C-K-N-E-S-S

I'm liking that, at one point i was trying to get a trail ready rear bumper because it had some real heavy tube guarding the tail lights and what not

Freakin thing looks great, with it out there flexing ya get alot better perspective of how it looks on the vehicle in comparason to the shop pics

i gotta ask though... did ya get Giggly when ya went to pick it up?

Thanks again for all the props everybody.

When I originally talked to Eric about doing a rear bumper I was gonna do a solid plated one, not tubeing, but since no one had done a tube rear bumper I figured why not match my front end and have something really original. I also put function over form. You may notice it doesn't sit right against the body of the jeep which serves two purposes. 1 it keeps the jeep body away from rocks when things get hairy and 2 when I do bash the bumper on rocks there is room for the bumper to give and not damage the body panels, not that the bumper is remotely designed to give at all. I think the rear open spaces look great but would have been sweet plated as well, but again, I wanted to save weight on an already fat jeep. Function over form.

I also forgot to show the link to the lights I put on. They are sweet little LEDs and come in a wide array of colors and styles too I guess.
I got the ones in the first product link.
