You are correct, I did not account for the speedo difference. Make sure you post pictures in the "Post Pics of Your Rig" section when you get your new rubbers! Good Luck

My Ol Man has an F-150 with 245 tires, and if I am correct the correct bolt pattern. May through them on the KJ. Give it a test :twisted:

I've been runnin 245/70/16's on my heep since I bought it. It's an 04 so it's "lowered". The only time it ever rubs is when I hit a dip in the road (pavement). Never had any rubbing on the trails at all. I think that is the perfect tire size for a stock KJ.

Have bfg all terain for second time on kj,got all terain as it suit me for work and play,as with work i go off the track as well as on,have 235/70/16
was looking at 245's but was told it may rub,have 1 1/2 lift in front and 2 inche in rear,so think i would have got away with it,,was also looking at general grabbers ats,few have tested here and say they like too,but you cant beat the grip and road holding of bfg's
