Just saw this on Apple news...

Chrysler Group & Apple Announce iPod Integration

The Chrysler Group will provide full iPod integration as an option in most of its 2006 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge models, offering seamless iPod integration beginning this spring. Drivers can listen to their iPod through the car’s audio system, select their music by artist, album or playlist with radio or steering wheel controls and view selections on the radio’s display.

Cool. 8)

Who wants to pay $175 plus install to hook up thier iPod to the crappy mopar stereo? Go out and but a Kenwood, Alpine, Sony, etc and get thier iPod adapter, or better yet a simple aux in.

Thumbs down from me. too liitle for the money

They need to offer a place to hold the iPOD also. There is nowhere to put anything in the KJ. Cupholders are all you have but then there is nowhere for my beer. Bottoms up I guess...

I will try to get pictures, but I have a Kenwood head unit and Ipod controller, I ran the cable inside the cd-holder under the armrest, works great.
