are they 100% street legal? How is the light output compared to HID's?

I would not be the first one to buy this.

Ask for proof before purchase..

They tryed a projuct for the MX-5 and it came out bad and over priced.

They are only for running lights. They aren't supposed to be used just as headlights. It's modeled after BMW headlights.

The only downside is that you will have to open your headlights to install these. If you pay attention to the directions it's not that hard to do.

If you look at the pics the are installed on a set of Liberty headlights. It's not computer generated. Look closely and you can see they are on real lights.

Also if you look over their feedback there are some Liberty kits sold.

The next $200 I get to spend I'm going to buy the kit.

I posted this a looooong time ago... Mr nick was going to check if the headlight cover could be snapped out for the install of the halos.
Back when I had my charger RT I bought a set from these guys... its a very good product but the install was a pain in the buttocks... you had to bake the headlight to crack it open, install halos, then bake then put back the headlights... it was a 2 day install....
Some one in here was going to double check if the headlights were easy to disassemble... im waiting for that answer
if so, Im so into this kit!

I would take a set in UltraViolet, at 4300K.

I really hope to do this over the summer. Lots of other things to use money for, but I will do my best to pick these up.

I think a few people are waiting for me to pull the lights again and find out, I'm the one that suggested they might be clipped in the first place and not baked.

...However, I'm very busy working on my "priority car" which is my 1969 Cutlass. So, Jeep projects are on hold for a while, sorry guys! Not hard to do though, just pull the grill and remove 3 (I think) bolts and the whole headlight housing comes out.

Have you taken a break from the cutlass to look at this for us yet, I know you want to know and so do the rest of us.

I just read your post on the KC lights and light bar and remembered this part and just wanted to check up on it since its been 2 weeks or so since last update

OK I got sick of waiting to see if someone else would look into the headlight housing being sealed with glue or not.

here is my verdict. They are clipped together but still glued, I just took one out and tried to pull it apart, lifted the clip completely off the tab and one side and no movement, taking a really close look at it still looks like a glue of some sort sealing the assembly, which makes alot of sense because how else would you keep moisture out.

So needless to say, looks like they need to bake to open them up, no go on it just being clipped together, sorry to break the news

Alright so this is my first post and new to this forum but I have been viewing the posts posted on this forum since Jan. I am actually planning on installing these halo lights. Call me an idiot but I got a hold of some spare headlights to test theses halo lights out. Better safe than sorry. Will be placing these orders within this next month and hopefully have them installed by the end of may.

Ordered my halo light 6000K a couple days ago and received them today. Will install when my HIDs arrive. 8) Plan on painting the housing black too. Will post a write up and picture when project completed.
