Hi guys just trying to workout which perforance chip is the one to get. I know some do more than others but where do they plug into in particular the DPChip does it plug into the MAP and the Fuel rail or do they all only plug into one place and then the box is what does the more complex process (cause I have read that the cheap one just put more fuel in) but the expensive ones should adjust more than just fuel.

Pipes could you please let us know exactly where yours plugs in (photos would be great if you have the time). Thanks in advance.

I didn't install mine myself, and a photo will tell you nothing (I just took one to be sure!) but the DP literature states that is installed AFTER the ECU so that it modifies the signals that the ECU is sending to the injectors.

I really can't say how well it works as I did very little driving in this KJ before having it fitted, but I have no complaints with the way the KJ tows the camper around the country.

Read this. OK, it's their advertising blurb but it makes sense to me.

I have one on mine. http://www.ferrita.com/eng/index.php
The most diffcult about mounting was to get the plastic enginecover of. (You need to open the oil refill cap first  )
After that, it takes about 30 seconds to install.

Power before 163 bhp, now 184.
Torque bfore 400 Nm, now 445.
0-60 mph before 13 seconds, now 11. (What on earth will I do whith all that extra time?)

The jeep feels like it´s 300 kg lighter. There are no better fuel economy, but the rear tire will wear out quicker.

What I think about the trim chip... Well, I would rather spend my money on something else. :(
