I was able to get some new OME 927 springs, new rancho shocks/struts, and a new rear poly spacer for an insane deal ($300) so I am going to go ahead with a lift.

I want enough lift to clear 245/75/16 tires.

What else do I need? Will I need a spacer for the front to get enough lift? I know front bumpstops are needed, but what about rear? Will I need a brake line relocation bracket? The truck is a 2006 gas 4x4.

You will be fine up front, but will need to take apart your current set-up to get the 2 isolators and top plate to use in your new set up. Some people even after a lift still have some rubbing on the pinch weld...easy fix on that...smash it over.

For the rear are you going to use stock springs with the poly spacer?
If so go ahead and just finish off the lift with some OME springs and Rancho rear shocks (from a durango). Will probably only be another $200-250.

But you will clear the 245/75 with set-u

did it come with the front and rear Rancho shocks?
Im not sure on the rear brake lines.
Yes its a good idea to have bumpstops for the rear, you can stack 3 hockey pucks and bolt them down, thats the cheapest way to go.
like Jeep4me99 said spend the extra $150 and get the OME HD rear coils as well.

now if you are using a rear poly spacer for the rear for lift no way to really install a bumpstop, but you will be OK for a while, unless you are hauling big loads or pulling a trailer all the time , you can always upgrade the rear

should not need a brake hose relocater on an 06 I don't think
front bumpstops yes, should be good to go after doing the pinch weld

Depends on the spacer. The rear spacer I had with the ROR lift had a large enough hole through the center to have pucks installed.



Mind you, wouldn't the spacer with the solid center act as it's own bumpstop?

On the 06 you do need the brake line relocate brackets, and two on the drivers side I believe.

I just installed an OME lift and am clearing 245/75's without any problems except for some slight tapping at full lock. Just need to cut a little plastic I think. Not sure about on the trails. Oh I put in a 1/2" spacer in the rear too. My tires are brand new so I'm sure after a few thousand miles it won't rub at all.

I was thinking I need a strut spacer like what is pictured above to achieve a full 2.5"-3" of lift up front.

Well for one you have Medium Duty Rear springs listed now as going on the front??? What you want are either the OME 926 Medium Duty or preferably the OME 927 Heavy Duty. You had the right ones listed to begin with , what happened ?????
Front shocks are OK RSX 17505

Rear shocks are the right ones as well.

No you do not need that OTT strut spacer plus it would give you way too much lift

funny, with that type of rear spacer you would need to install at least 4 hockey pucks to make it work so that the stock sprimgs would not stack, then you have basically done away with most of your flex in the rear
