Well folks, it looks like my 2006 CRD has decided to trade me in for a new owner...

My wife wanted a more comfortable daily driver, so we got a deal from a buddy on a 2003 BMW X5. My CRD decided that this arrangement was not acceptable, and has traded us in for my buddy Fred. Fred gets my 2006 CRD with 48k miles on the clock, Pirelli Scorpion ATRs, Inmotion tune, Suncoast converter, separate snow tires/wheels, Hensley TruControl brake controller, new crossdrilled/slotted rotors and pads front and rear, 2006 KJ EVIC added, Saikou PCV (not installed yet), Cummins lift pump (not installed yet), SEGR kit (not installed yet), Samco hoses (not yet installed), FIA winter front, jugs of Powerservice, Fumoto valve, and Mopar skid plates (not yet installled).

Everyone, please give my CRD's new owner Fred a warm welcome!

- Chris

Hi Fred.Image
I think that you got the better deal with the CRD but it's a close call. That X5 is one sweet ride too.

It's not:

  • We also have a 2005 V8 4x4 Tundra that we were using to tow until...
  • we started a house renovation last fall and were forced to sell the trailer for financial reasons.

:)

Fred will stop in to say hi once the admins get around to approving his account! He's a good buddy of mine and promised to give me visitation rights to the CRD.

Hi folks,

Any suggestions on how to move Fred's LostKJ registration along? It's been two weeks and he's still waiting. Is there someone he can contact?

Woohoo! Made it to the forum! Thanks to everyone who helped. And thanks to everyone for their welcoming remarks!

Let me just say- I know i've only had chrispitude's old CRD for a few weeks... but Man am I attached to it! What an impressive vehicle these CRDs are! I continue to be impressed every time I drive it.

Actually when you once let it go, you will miss it. Trust me.

...only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Someone deleted his first registration, but he couldn't reuse the name the second time. :(

Welcome on the best KJ site on the net, Fred!

Fred and the CRD are coming up this weekend, and we're going to put the skids, Samco hoses, and the Saikou filter on.
