used from another member but a great deal to me and i cannot wait for it to get here.

my wife was not happy about buying a lift but i told her about how her springs were wore out and that is why whenever we hit a dip on the highway the suspension would bottom out. she was not impressed with the cost of any part of suspension work but when i told her hte cost of replacing the stock springs versus replacing them with a good name brand aftermarket spring that just happens to be 2 inches taller, she still was mad but she said ok.

i will take some pics for you fellas when i get it. then i already have a shop lined up from a buddy who worked at jeep here in town till they closed and another friend who just wants to help as he has little experience behind a wrench.

just tell her that if for some reason she can't stand it lifted, you always have the option of reselling the components here and maybe finding a very lightly used CRD set or something!

i need to get back into some kind of education so i can use more of mine. plus, two assiciates aren't worth a crap anywhere anymore

i told her last week i was buying a lift this week, whether it was new or used. i told her she didn't have a say because right now, the safety of the family is at risk with worn out springs and the tires are wearing badly so i was getting a lift whether she was mad or not.

she bought a bmw in response to that.

little does she know, the bmw has some stuff coming in the mail also now.

nah, we got a 91 with a rare body kit on it for cheap but it needs some interior parts replaced so i ordered a new shift boot and am going to order a new shift knob. (and probably a short shift kit, some coil overs, a chip for the ecu, and put in all my european gauges from my last bmw)
