Ok, I had the low washer fluid indictor come on so I filled the tank (almost took a full gallon ) and ran the rear washer but I'm not getting anything. Is there a rear tank I need to fill? I don't want to run the pump too much in case I burn it up. Any suggestions...
Thanks
Ron

Did u let it stay dry for a long time? May just have some dried gunk in the line or ure rear pump is bad.

theres no tank for the rear, only someone stupid like ford does that. The tank is in your bumper, check to see if its running when you hit the button.

It just ran out last night. I can hear the pump kicking in so it seems to be working. Maybe I'll have to just keep it pumping? Oh, the front washers are working...

Refer to the critter thread...they also got the washer fluid lines, at the firewall. This is going to be fun fixing...Plus they started on the new line I replaced for the brake booster.

It might have some air in the line. I would just let it run until it comes out or until you are sure that it is mot going to the rear. The line runs through the vehicle so I doubt that a critter got ahold of it. On a side note, I was very surprized when I had to fill mine and it took almost the whole gallon also. After I thought about it I had realized that I had never had to fill the thing since I bought the Jeep in 04.

Never filled mine up either. The line is out in the open in the engine bay. It goes into the fire wall. If it still doesnt pump i would disconnect one of the lines and figure out which one is the front and rear and see if it comes out there. You may have a clog or something.

The critters got it. I'll try and get a pic. If you look at where it goes into the firewall they chewed a good 2 inches up to the grommet there :x .
