I thought these were neat enough to repost. It lets all you Yahkees see what a piece of Texas is like. Although Texas ranges from desert to plains to coast to forest to....

You're right Spike, all those Yankees don't know what they're missing! Although it is nice up north, I wouldn't leave Texas for anything.

I stopped at a gas station about 25 miles into Texas and, without thinking, gave the guy some extra change for sales tax on a soda. He put his arms on the table and sternly told me "He don't need no sales tax." He traumatized me from ever going back to Texas. Plus, you know, there's that whole "I'm Arkansan so I can't like the Longhorns" thing. :P

I have only been to Big Bend once, about 20 years ago, and I did not do any off-roading. How do you access these roads?
