 Post subject: Lift Friendly Dealer

I took my KJ in for my free oil change and while I was there I got my build sheet for it.. But I also asked about lifts.. The service manager said they hate lifted Jeeps but if the lift is only 2 to 3 inches then they were fine with it but won't cover the OEM items (Springs, struts, shocks, etc). Which is fine with me.. Most OEM manufactures have warrenties on their products... They said all other stuff would be covered... He also said he has never seen a lifted KJ.. Well.. He will soon enough.. :D

The dealer is Rick Hendrick Jeep in North Charleston, South Carolina if anyone is interested...

Yeah.. I know.. But atleast they will honor warrenty work for the rest of the Jeep... The funny thing is one of the master mechanics there has a 2002 TJ that is lifted like 6in and all kinds of crazy stuff on it... So they know that people do it...
