the only problem is, i dont think my thing is oem. looks aftermarket to me, so if you guys can snap pix of urs (yes you digger!:) ) it would b great. also night driver mentioned, they do leak in the same location as mine even if the roof is not present

If it is after market, who installed it? Did you get your ride from a dealer? Was it used or new? Warranty?

yep:( looks like mine is aftermarket, i would assume dealer installed it, i found mine at the acura dealership, some1 gave it in as a tradein.i wonder how can i found out who installed it. if it was the dealer then i should b ok.

I wish you luck. If you can figure out who installed it, they should warranty their install. If not... time to drop the head liner and have a look-see.

i was thinking of bringing the jeep to the dealer for them to have a look see, but then i researched all local dealers that are still not out of business, (i had 2 dealers here in brooklyn and both went out of business ) and after reading some horror stories like loosing peoples cars and not fixing what had to be fixed while charging for multiple other things im thinking of checking it out myself or putting a layer of silicone along the rail on the drivers side. i have a feeling its not the moon roof since it leaks not around the roof but at the weird location and like the night driver said, his car leaked in the same location as well while he does not have a moon roof at all!
what do you folks think about the silicone along the rail?
