I have an Amsoil bypass filter on my diesel long wheelbase Samurai. Has anyone done a bypass oil filter on their CRD yet? Im interested in ideas. There doesnt appear to be much room in the ole engine compartment.....

I know of one person, but he sold the CRD. His bypass was situated behind the battery.

We have an MG-30 bypass on ours installed in front of the battery. Line runs from the pressure sensor around the front, to the bypass, and then returns to the oil cap.

someone said they saw a system with the bypass low next to frame rail - but they never posted pictures.
