This is being posted for Shak by request. It is a picture of the shim needed to level out a trailer hitch if you have the mopar (Borla) dual exhaust. It measures 7.75" X 2.5" X 0.125" (1/8). The holes are a hair larger in diameter than 0.50" . If you have any other questions Shak, PM me. Sorry it took so long to get the picture, I didn't have the camera earlier. I'd try contacting Borla (the manufacturer) to see if they can get you one.

p.s. Sorry it's so large...

Thanks a looooooooooooooooot. to be honest you dont need that to level out the hitch. I just sandwiched the hitch between the piece that was already there from the exhaust and the frame and bolted it up.
The only thing that bothered me was the oversized bolts draw-tite included with the hitch that wouldnt screw in the holes and i had to drop 3 dollars at sears and buy the right size bolts

I'm not familar with the MOPAR dual exhaust for the Liberty. But $420 seems very cheap if it is indeed a Borla. The Borla Dual Exhaust for the Liberty is something like $900. Whats the deal? Anyone know. Also anyone have pics of a dual exhaust on a Liberty, I have seen the one on the Borla Website.

as i understand Borla used to make the dual exhausts for jeep as a mopar part. maybe a year or two ago they stopped making them for mopar but they still make them as a borla part sold on their website. As i have heard from others jeep dealerships dont carry the exhausts anymore and the price from borla website is something like 800 dollars. I bought mine off ebay for about 450 dollars shipped. Hope that helped

I don't know how much horsepower it adds. I don't claim to have a dyno built into my brain like some people, but it sounds nice and it's stainless steel, so no rusting. The muffler is supposed to be less restrictive than the stock unit, so it probably increases the power a little. I put it on in my driveway, and it was very easy. I had 2 problems:(1)the bolts supplied to attach the muffler to the catalytic converter are the wrong size, and need to be replaced, and (2) getting the stock muffler and tailpipe assembly off w/o a carlift or a torch. I had it jacked up with a floor jack to the max AND 3 wood planks under the jack, and we had to hit it with a pipe to free it up. After that it was smooth sailing. Everything fits very nicely, and the polished chrome tips looks real nice.
